1. LEGAL FRAMEWORK AND RETURN PERIOD

1.1 Legal Right of Withdrawal (0–14 days)

In accordance with GEO 34/2014 regarding consumer rights in distance contracts, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from the date they physically take possession of the product.
The exercise of the right of withdrawal is valid only if all conditions and procedures described in this policy are fully respected.

1.2 Parseea Extended Commercial Policy (15–30 days)

In addition to the legal term, Parseea grants, as a commercial facility, an extended return period of up to 30 calendar days from the receipt of the product.
⚠️ The 15–30 day period is not a legal right, but a voluntary commercial benefit.

During this period:

  • returns are accepted only if the product is in absolutely pristine condition;

  • any sign of use, wear, or damage leads to the rejection of the request;

  • Parseea reserves the right to unilaterally refuse the return if the strict integrity conditions are not met.

Exclusive Method for Registering Returns

The return procedure is carried out exclusively through the online platform available in the "Return" section of the Parseea website, in compliance with the steps provided in this policy.
Submitting a request via email, social networks, phone, or other communication channels does not equate to registering a return request and will not produce effects without completing the online procedure.
The customer is obligated to follow the steps in the established order (organizing transport, obtaining the AWB, registering the request on the platform, and dispatching the package).
Parseea is not obligated to process returns that have not been registered through the official system and reserves the right to refuse packages shipped without respecting the described procedure.
Failure to follow the procedure in the established form and order may lead to delays or the impossibility of processing the request.

Packaging and Return Verification

To ensure traceability and correctness of logistical operations, all packages shipped by Parseea are prepared and packed in video-monitored areas.
Through video recordings and internal quality control checks, Parseea can objectively ascertain:

  • the condition of the product at the time of shipment;

  • its integrity;

  • conformity with the placed order.

In case of complaints regarding alleged manufacturing defects, non-conformities, or delivery errors, the company will analyze the situation by reference to:

  • video recordings of the packaging process;

  • internal product verification sheets prior to shipment;

  • the condition of the product upon receipt of the return.

Return shipping costs will be borne by Parseea exclusively if, following the checks performed, a non-conformity attributable to the company (manufacturing defect or erroneous delivery) is confirmed.
The customer's unilateral invocation of a non-conformity does not automatically oblige Parseea to bear the shipping costs; these are determined after the actual ascertainment of the facts.

Furthermore, all packages received as returns are opened and checked in video-monitored areas to ascertain:

  • the identity of the returned product;

  • its condition;

  • the existence of any signs of use;

  • conformity with the registered return request.

If, following verification, it is found that the product does not have non-conformities attributable to the company or does not meet the return conditions provided in this policy, Parseea reserves the right to reject the return request or to apply the provisions regarding value diminution, under the law.

2. MANDATORY RETURN PROCEDURE

⚠️ Full compliance with the steps below is a procedural condition for processing the return request.
⚠️ Returns shipped without prior registration of the request through the official Parseea application will not be processed and may be refused upon receipt.

⚠️ For products requested for exchange:
If the customer wishes to replace the product with a different model, size, or another product available on the site, they should not initiate a return request through the standard withdrawal platform.
The exchange procedure is distinct from the return procedure and is subject to separate conditions.
The customer is obligated to notify their intention to exchange in advance, in writing, via the online form available on the "Exchange Policy" page, before shipping the product.
Packages shipped through the standard return procedure, without prior notification regarding an exchange request, will be processed according to the return policy, and not as an exchange request.
Parseea reserves the right to refuse to process an exchange in the absence of prior notification and confirmation of the desired product's availability.

STEP 1 – Organizing Return Shipping

To exercise the right of withdrawal or the extended commercial facility, the customer is obligated to independently organize the transport of the product to Parseea.
To this end, the customer must:
a) prepare the product for return, in strict compliance with the conditions regarding its condition and integrity, as per this policy;
b) contract a fast courier company of their choice;
c) obtain the transport identification number (AWB) for the return package.

⚠️ Parseea does not organize package pickup and does not reimburse return shipping costs, except in situations where:

  • the delivered product is non-compliant (manufacturing defect);

  • the delivered product is different from the placed order.

Conditions regarding transport:

  • Product return is carried out exclusively through a fast courier company, at the customer's choice (excluding lockers or Romanian Post).

  • The cost of return shipping is borne entirely by the customer, in accordance with Art. 14 para. (2) of GEO 34/2014, except in situations where the product is non-compliant or incorrectly delivered.

  • As previously mentioned, returns shipped via Romanian Post, locker/easybox services, or other automated drop-off points are not accepted.

  • Parseea does not accept packages shipped with cash on delivery. Any package sent with a cash on delivery request to the company will be refused upon receipt and returned to the sender.

  • The risk regarding the loss or damage of the product during transport belongs to the customer until the actual receipt of the package by Parseea.

Packages shipped with cash on delivery will be refused upon receipt and returned to the sender.

STEP 2 – Registering the Return Request on the Online Platform

After obtaining the AWB number, the customer is obligated to register the return request exclusively through the application available in the "Return" section of the Parseea website.

The registration procedure involves:
a) entering the email address used when placing the order;

b) validating identity by entering the unique code automatically sent;

c) selecting the relevant order and accessing the "REQUEST RETURN" option

e) fully completing the "REASON" and "NOTE" fields.

In the "NOTE" section, the following information is mandatory:

  • the reason for the return;

  • for cash on delivery orders: the account holder's name and the IBAN to which the refund is requested;

  • for card payments: IBAN indication is not necessary, as the refund will be made to the account used for payment;

  • the name of the courier company used;

  • the AWB number for the return shipment.

The return request is considered validly registered only upon complete submission of the form through the online system.
Returns for which no request has been registered on the platform or for which transport details (courier and AWB) or refund details have not been provided may be refused upon receipt or their processing may be suspended until mandatory information is completed.

STEP 3 – Actual Shipment of the Product

The customer is obligated to hand over the package to the courier company and ensure its shipment to the address indicated by Parseea.

Before sealing the package, the customer must:

  • download the return form available on this page;

  • print it;

  • complete it appropriately;

  • place it inside the returned package.

A package returned without the return form included inside will NOT be processed!
In this situation, the customer is obligated to contact Parseea to clarify the situation and provide the necessary information for identifying the return. Until this information is received, the processing and refund period does not begin.

Product shipment must be carried out:

  • within no more than 14 calendar days from the date of return request registration;

  • observing the maximum term of 30 calendar days from the date of product receipt.

Any return exceeding 30 calendar days from the date of product receipt may be refused and will not be processed.

 

Return Shipping Cost

The shipping cost for returning the product is borne entirely by the customer.
Parseea does not organize package pickup and does not reimburse return shipping costs, except in situations where:

  • the delivered product is non-compliant (manufacturing defect);

  • the delivered product is different from the placed order.

In these situations, the cost of the return will be borne by Parseea after confirmation of non-conformity.

In accordance with Art. 14 para. (3) of GEO 34/2014, the consumer is responsible for any diminution in the value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to ascertain its nature and characteristics.

Free Shipping – Conditions and Recalculation of Commercial Benefit

Parseea offers free shipping for orders with a total value of at least 499 RON.
Free shipping is a commercial benefit granted conditionally upon meeting the minimum value threshold.

In case of exercising the right of withdrawal, the conditions of the free shipping offer are recalculated based on the value of the products retained by the customer.

If an initial order exceeds 499 RON and, after the return, the value of the retained products remains at least 499 RON, the free shipping benefit remains applicable for the initial delivery.
In this situation, in the event of a return, the shipping cost for the initial delivery will be entirely borne by Parseea and will not be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed.

If, after the return (regardless of whether one or more products or the entire order is returned), the total value of the retained products falls below the 499 RON threshold, the free shipping benefit is no longer applicable.

In this situation, the shipping cost for the initial delivery will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed, representing a recalculation of the commercial advantage granted at the time of placing the order.
This provision does not represent a penalty for exercising the right of withdrawal, but an adjustment of the conditionally granted commercial benefit.

The cost of return shipping remains the customer's responsibility, except in cases of non-conformity attributable to Parseea.

3. Conditions regarding the condition and packaging of the returned product

To be eligible for a full refund, the product must be returned:

  • in the same condition in which it was delivered;

  • without signs of use, wear, or damage;

  • with all labels intact, both inner and outer;

  • without interventions, modifications, or adjustments after delivery.

The product must be appropriately packaged for transport, so as to be protected against damage.
It is not permitted to apply adhesive tape (scotch) or other fastening materials directly to the product, on labels, or on its protective packaging, nor any packaging method that may affect the integrity or commercial presentation of the product.

Damage to the product due to improper packaging for transport is attributable to the sender.
If, following verification, damage, missing labels, or impairment of the product's integrity is found, Parseea is entitled to apply the provisions regarding value diminution or, as the case may be, to refuse the refund, under the law.

4. Verification and Evaluation of the Returned Product

Upon receipt of the return package, Parseea proceeds to verify the returned product to ascertain compliance with the eligibility conditions set forth in this policy.

The reception and verification process takes place in video-monitored areas and includes:

  • opening the package;

  • verifying the product's identity;

  • assessing its physical and aesthetic condition;

  • noting any signs of use, damage, or missing items;

  • drawing up an internal inspection report.

The verification will be carried out within 3–5 working days from the date of product receipt at Parseea's premises.

Following the verification, the client will be informed in writing about the evaluation results, via an email sent from contact@parseea.com to the client's email address provided at the time of placing the order, specifically:

  • full approval of the return and initiation of the refund procedure;

  • partial approval, with a proportional reduction in value, under the terms of art. 14 para. (3) of GEO 34/2014;

  • rejection of the return, if the conditions specified in this policy are not met.

The assessment of the product's condition at the time of receipt constitutes the factual basis for determining the right to a full or partial refund, as the case may be.

Reduction in product value

In accordance with art. 14 para. (3) of GEO 34/2014, the consumer is responsible for any reduction in product value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Should, upon verification of the returned product, signs of handling, use, or damage to its integrity be found that lead to a decrease in commercial value, Parseea is entitled to deduct from the amount to be refunded a value proportional to the depreciation observed.

The evaluation of the value reduction is carried out individually, based on:

  • the nature of the product;

  • the degree of damage;

  • the impact on the possibility of reselling it as a new product.

In case of minor marks that allow the product to be restored to commercial condition through reasonable operations, the value reduction can be estimated up to 10% of the product's value, depending on the severity of the findings.

The applied deduction does not represent an administrative fee or penalty, but a legal compensation related to the reduction in product value, in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

Should the damage be substantial and the product can no longer be sold as new, Parseea reserves the right to refuse a refund, in accordance with the law.

Products adjusted or modified at the client's request

Parseea sells standard products that are not custom-made according to individual consumer specifications.
Exceptionally, if, at the express request of the client, adjustments, modifications, or interventions are made to the product (including, but not limited to: shortening, tailoring modifications, structural adjustments, or other technical interventions), the modified product is considered an item made or modified according to the consumer's specifications.

In accordance with art. 16 letter c) of GEO 34/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of products made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized.
Consequently, products that have undergone modifications or adjustments at the client's request cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund.
Requesting and accepting modifications is equivalent to expressly accepting the loss of the right of withdrawal for the respective product.

Products ineligible for return

If, following verification, it is found that the returned product does not meet the eligibility conditions for return, the client will be informed in writing about the rejection of the request.

The rejected product remains at the client's disposal for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of sending the notification regarding the return rejection.
During this period, the client is obliged to request the re-shipment of the product, with shipping costs fully borne by them.
If the client does not request the recovery of the product within the 90 calendar days, Parseea reserves the right to dispose of the product, including by donation, monetization, or disposal, without the obligation to grant compensation.

5. Refund

Parseea fulfills its legal obligation by initiating the refund within the applicable timeframe, in accordance with this policy and current legislation.

Refund period

A. Withdrawal within the legal period (0–14 days)
For withdrawal requests made within the legal period of 14 calendar days from the date of product receipt, refunds are made in accordance with art. 13 of GEO 34/2014.
Parseea will refund the amounts for returned products without undue delay and within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the returned product at the company's headquarters.
In accordance with legal provisions, Parseea may postpone the refund until the date of product receipt or until proof of its dispatch is received, as applicable.
The refund is initiated after the verification of the returned product, carried out within 3–5 working days of receipt.

For card payments, the refund is made to the same account from which the payment was made.
For cash-on-delivery orders, the refund is made by bank transfer to the IBAN account indicated by the client in the return request.

The 14-calendar-day period represents the legal deadline for initiating the refund.
The actual crediting of the account may vary depending on the procedures of the banking institution and is beyond Parseea's control.

B. Extended commercial policy (15–30 days)
For return requests made after the expiration of the legal period of 14 calendar days, but within the extended commercial period of 30 calendar days from product receipt, the refund is made within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the date of return approval following product verification.
The applicable term in this situation represents a condition of the commercial facility granted by Parseea and does not constitute a legal right regulated by GEO 34/2014.
Parseea reserves the right to approve or reject returns made during the extended period, depending on the fulfillment of the conditions provided in this policy.

Internal bank documents, including payment orders (OP), account statements, or other internal financial-accounting documents, are not transmitted to the client.
Confirmation of refund initiation is considered sufficient for fulfilling the information obligation.
The actual crediting of the account depends exclusively on the procedures of the banking institution involved and is beyond Parseea's control.

Incorrectly delivered products and Non-compliant products

1. Incorrectly delivered product

If the client receives a product different from the one ordered (model, size, or distinct item), they must notify Parseea within a maximum of 3 calendar days from the date of receiving the package.
Notification must be sent exclusively in writing, to the email address:

The request must contain:

  • order name and number;

  • description of the situation;

  • clear photos of the received product, including the label and outer packaging.

Failure to notify within the mentioned period or sending it through channels other than the indicated email address may lead to the impossibility of objectively verifying the situation.

If a delivery error is confirmed, Parseea will bear the shipping costs for returning the incorrect product and will proceed, as appropriate, to:

  • replace the product;
    or

  • fully refund the amount paid.

2. Non-compliant products

If the client discovers a non-conformity, they must notify Parseea in writing, to the email address:

The notification must be sent within a reasonable time from the discovery of the defect and must contain:

  • order name and number;

  • detailed description of the alleged non-conformity;

  • clear photos of the product and the alleged defect;

  • photos of labels and, if applicable, packaging.

Failure to notify in writing or sending it through channels other than the indicated email address may lead to the impossibility of objectively verifying the situation.

A product is considered non-compliant if, at the time of delivery:

  • it has manufacturing defects;

  • it does not substantially correspond to the description, specifications, or essential characteristics displayed on the site;

  • it has hidden defects existing at the time of delivery.

Non-conformity must exist at the time of delivery and be independent of subsequent use or handling of the product.

The following do not constitute non-conformity:

  • minor variations in color or shade caused by the manufacturing process;

  • differences in color perception caused by electronic device settings;

  • reasonable variations in accessories or decorative details, when these do not affect the essential characteristics of the product;

  • differences expressly mentioned in the informative note displayed on the product page;

  • wrong size selection;

  • subjective preferences regarding the material, cut, or appearance of the product;

  • damage occurring after delivery, as a result of improper use, handling, or maintenance.

In the event of a confirmed non-conformity, Parseea will proceed, as appropriate, to:

  • repair the product;

  • replace it;

  • a proportional price reduction;
    or

  • refund the product's value.

The applicable solution is determined based on the nature of the defect and the possibility of remediation.

Shipping costs for returning the product are borne by Parseea exclusively if the non-conformity or delivery error is confirmed.
Parseea reserves the right to analyze the returned product to ascertain the existence of a non-conformity, including through physical verification and technical evaluation.
The finding is made by reference to the product's condition at the time of delivery and to the information communicated on the product page.
If, following verification, the product is found to be compliant, the shipping costs remain the client's responsibility.

3. Non-conformity assessment

Parseea reserves the right to analyze the returned product to ascertain the existence of a non-conformity, including through physical verification and technical evaluation.
The product evaluation is carried out within 3–5 working days from its receipt at the company's premises/warehouse.
The finding is made by reference to:

  • the product's condition at the time of delivery;

  • the information and description communicated on the product page;

  • the nature of the alleged defect.
    The client will be informed in writing about the evaluation results and the applicable measure.

4. Color variations and decorative elements

Products sold by Parseea are made in a production workshop, and their presentation on the website is indicative.
Each product page displays information regarding the possibility of minor variations in color, shade, texture, or accessory details, caused by:

  • the particularities of the materials used;

  • the manufacturing process;

  • display differences of electronic devices (screen, brightness, color settings).

Such reasonable variations, inherent to the production process, do not constitute non-conformity within the meaning of applicable law and cannot be a reason for requesting a refund on the grounds of receiving a defective or non-compliant product.
This provision does not affect the legal right of withdrawal within the period provided by law.

Right to refuse future orders

Failure to collect orders

Refusal to accept the package upon delivery or failure to collect it from the delivery point does not equate to exercising the right of withdrawal within the meaning of GEO 34/2014.
If a client exhibits repetitive behavior consisting of at least three (3) uncollected or refused orders within a 12-calendar-month period, Parseea reserves the right to refuse to process future orders placed by the same client.
This measure is preventive, proportionate to the logistical costs incurred, and applies exclusively to protect commercial activity against abusive behavior.
Refusal to process future orders does not affect legal rights related to already delivered orders and does not constitute a sanction, but a contractual protection measure.

Repetitive Returns

The right of withdrawal is guaranteed in accordance with applicable law.
However, if a client exhibits repetitive behavior consisting of:

  • the full return of products from at least three (3) distinct orders within a 12-month period; or

  • a significant and disproportionate percentage of returns compared to orders placed; or

  • repeated placement of high-value orders followed by partial or full return of products,

Parseea reserves the right to analyze the reasonableness of exercising the right of withdrawal.
If a pattern of abusive use or use contrary to contractual good faith is found, the company reserves the right to refuse to process future orders placed by that client.

This measure:

  • is preventive;

  • is proportional to the logistical and commercial impact generated;

  • does not affect the legal rights pertaining to orders already delivered;

  • does not limit the exercise of the right of withdrawal for accepted and processed orders.

This return policy is drafted and applied in accordance with the legal provisions applicable to distance contracts, as well as with the applicable regulations regarding consumer rights, product conformity, and the general principles of civil law.
The interpretation and application of this policy are carried out in accordance with Romanian law in force at the time the order is placed.
